Booking & Payment Summary
- Equipment is not reserved or guaranteed until your booking has been confirmed by Speaker Hire Hub.
- Payment requirements and any security deposit requirements will be communicated before collection.
- By accepting a booking, making payment, or taking possession of equipment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
All equipment remains the property of Speaker Hire Hub at all times.
1. Booking & Confirmation
Quotes and availability are subject to confirmation by Speaker Hire Hub.
A booking is only considered confirmed once required payment, deposit, and booking details have been accepted.
Speaker Hire Hub reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where payment requirements have not been completed.
2. Payment & Security Deposit
Payment details, booking requirements and any refundable security deposit will be provided before equipment collection.
The security deposit may be used to cover loss, damage, late returns, excessive cleaning, or other costs associated with the hire.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms may depend on the equipment, booking date and notice period provided.
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
- Refund eligibility will be assessed based on the timing of cancellation.
- Rescheduling may be available depending on equipment availability.
4. Hire Period & Returns
- The standard hire period is 24 hours unless otherwise agreed.
- Equipment must be returned at the agreed time.
- Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
5. Equipment Responsibility
The hirer is responsible for all equipment from the time it leaves Speaker Hire Hub possession until it is returned and accepted back.
The hirer agrees to return all equipment in the same condition as supplied, excluding reasonable wear and tear.
The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, damage, misuse or destruction of equipment during the hire period.
6. Equipment Use & Safety
Equipment must be operated safely and only for its intended purpose.
- Protect equipment from rain, moisture and weather exposure.
- Do not place drinks or liquids near equipment.
- Do not modify, repair or open equipment.
- Do not leave equipment unsecured or unattended.
- Stop using equipment if a fault occurs and contact us.
7. Pickup & Collection
Equipment pickup is available from our Clayton, VIC location.
- Customers must provide valid identification when requested.
- Customers are responsible for safely transporting equipment.
- Customers should ensure their vehicle is suitable for the hired equipment.
8. Damage, Loss & Replacement Costs
Any lost, stolen, damaged or missing equipment may result in charges for repair, replacement or recovery costs.
Charges may include the reasonable cost required to restore or replace equipment.
9. Cleaning Charges
Equipment must be returned in a reasonable condition.
Additional cleaning charges may apply for equipment returned excessively dirty, wet, damaged or requiring specialist cleaning.
10. Liability
Speaker Hire Hub shall not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, event disruption, consequential loss, property damage, personal injury, or any other costs, expenses, or damages arising from the use of hired equipment or the inability to use hired equipment.
The hirer accepts full responsibility and all risks associated with the operation, transportation, setup, and use of the equipment during the hire period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speaker Hire Hub’s total liability arising from any claim relating to the hire of equipment shall be limited to the amount of hire fees paid by the hirer for the relevant booking.
11. Identification & Verification
Speaker Hire Hub may request identification or other verification details for booking security and equipment protection purposes.
12. Force Majeure
Speaker Hire Hub is not responsible for delays or inability to provide services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
This may include extreme weather, natural disasters, accidents, government restrictions, power failures, transport disruptions or other unexpected events.
13. General Conditions
- Ownership of all equipment remains with Speaker Hire Hub.
- Equipment cannot be sold, transferred, sub-hired or loaned without permission.
- Speaker Hire Hub reserves the right to refuse hire where appropriate.
- These Terms & Conditions apply to all equipment hire bookings.
