Beamz Party Bar 2 Setup and Lighting

💡 Pro Tip: Auto vs. Sound Mode

Highly Recommended: If you are using the Beamz Party Bar 2 as your only light for a party, we strongly recommend using Auto Mode. Because this is an entry-level light, Sound Mode can sometimes struggle or temporarily turn off during quieter moments and drops in the music.

However, if you are running multiple lights together, Sound Mode works brilliantly to sync everything and build a great atmosphere!

Auto Mode Setup & Speed Adjustment

Learn how to select different built-in light shows and customize how fast they cycle.

  1. Startup: The device boots directly into Auto Mode (displayed as An).
  2. Mode Selection: Use the UP and DOWN buttons to cycle through the different An light modes. Each mode has its own specific default speed.
  3. Speed Adjustment: Press ENTER to access the speed setting for the current mode, which will appear on the display as "s". Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the speed value.
  4. Bypass "n" Setting: Once your speed is set, click ENTER twice. This saves your speed, bypasses the "n" setting without changing it, and returns you to the main display.

Main Menu Navigation & Returning to Auto Mode

If you accidentally exit Auto Mode, here is how to navigate the main menu and get back.

  1. Access the Main Menu: Press the MENU button to exit your current light setting (e.g., An05). You will see Autn displayed on the screen; press ENTER again to fully access the main menu.
  2. Cycle Through Modes: Press the MENU button repeatedly to cycle through the main menu options. You will see the Auto mode displayed as Aut and the Sound mode displayed as Sou. (You can ignore the other modes that appear).
  3. Select Auto Mode: Continue pressing MENU until the screen displays Aut. Press the ENTER button to select it.
  4. Bypass "Autn" Setting: The display will then show Autn (where "n" refers to all 4 lights). Do not change this value; press the ENTER button again.
  5. Return and Adjust: The device will return to your specific Auto mode setting (e.g., An05). From here, you can use the UP and DOWN buttons to change the light modes and press ENTER to adjust the speed settings, just as outlined in Guide 1.

Sound Mode Setup & Navigation

Sync your lighting directly to the beat of the music using the built-in microphone.

  1. Access the Main Menu: From your current light setting, press the MENU button repeatedly until you reach the main menu options.
  2. Select Sound Mode: Continue pressing MENU to cycle through the options until the screen displays Sou.
  3. Bypass "SouN" Setting: Press the ENTER button to select Sound mode. The display will show SouN. Press ENTER again to bypass this setting without changing it.
  4. Change Sound Modes: The device will now display a specific sound mode (e.g., Sn06). Use the UP and DOWN buttons to cycle through the different sound-activated light modes. (Note: There are no speed settings to adjust here, as the light changes are driven entirely by the music).
  5. Exit to Main Menu: To leave Sound mode, press the MENU button. The screen will display SouN. Press MENU one more time to fully return to the main menu (Sou), where you can cycle back to Auto (Aut).

Quick Tip for Best Results 💡

If this is the only light at your party, we highly recommend using Auto Mode. As an entry-level light, it can sometimes struggle or go dark during drops in the music when using Sound Mode.

Using multiple lights? Sound Mode is great for syncing everything together and building a massive atmosphere!
